Hi can anybody tell me where can I buy Oak skirting and architrave for the best price in Surrey?

I don't want to buy loads in one go but probably room by room.

    Any advice appreciated.

Can I jump on this band wagon and say if anyone knows of anywhere in Worcs or Glos that I would be tres interested also. I just keep ending up in Sheds out of laziness.

I've replaced all the pine in my house. I struggled to find anywhere local, online is your best bet. Oak is about 2.5 or 3x the cost of pine (or more!). A lot of online places charge a lot for delivery though and last time I bulk ordered because of this. I still have a little skitring and door stop I need to order, the place I ordered from previously have increased prices considerably! The best place I found recently with reasonable £10 delivery and good prices was on ebay. Look for a seller "lovethresholds" based in birmingham, they have very good feedback. http://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/lovethresholds

Be careful when buying oak products you don't buy oak vaneer (unless that's what you are looking for of course!

Also I found in my original 2 bulk orders from the same place, i found there were minor differences in the profiles in the milled oak supplied between the two orders, so i couldn't mix and match. I guess they had more than one milling machine. Just something to be aware of!
