Best Readable Tape Measure

i do it on a regular basis, does no good. if i get 3 months out of one thats good going!
 
What do the premarked dots mean??

Aren't they meant to be plastic coated? Don't seem to be worth a fook.. maybe that's the fatmax ones.. but I don't like those.. too bulky for the pouch.
