Best way to clean concrete window sills ?

Hi

Could anyone please tell me the best way to clean mortar mess off of concrete window seals ?

Would a brick acid cleaner be recommended or will it attack the sill itself ?

Acid will attack any cement or lime based product, so if you use it direct it only on to the stains.
