Hi all,

I would like to cut some Victorian style porcelain tiles (100mm x 100mm x 7mm) purchased from Topps tiles. They came on a mesh of 5 x 5 and we'd like to rotate the design 45deg in the hearth. This means cutting a few. Maybe more than a few :)

Is the best tool to use a manual tile cutter like a Vitrex or Rubi? Or should I be looking at a wet saw to do this job?

Thanks
David

Have a practice on a spare piece of tile if you can, and if the glaze tends to splinter a little (some do, some don't) have a sheet of abrasive paper standing by just to smooth the edge.
Good luck with your project!
John :)
