I do not know whether this is the best section for questions about mirrors.
We want to put a 166 x 106 cm mirror on a wall behind stairs than sling round returning onto themself. The mirror glass will probably be 6mm thick
I have looked at clips - less visible - and also holes - probably more noticable.
Does anyone have any experience with these fixings for larger mirrors?

Most large mirrors have 'D' clips fixed to the back, which happily accept screws in the wall - or even a strong wire.
With careful measuring, screws can be put into the wall (heads projecting) and the 'D' clips hung on them.
The type of screw of course depends on what material the wall is constructed from - or at least determines the fixing the screw needs.
John :)
