Hi,

I have some nice wood tiles left over from a bedroom project that I would like to fit on a small wall behind a wash hand basin in a downstairs toilet.

I am a bit worried that if I don't waterproof/seal them they are going to get damaged from the splashes from the basin.

What would be the best way to seal/waterproof them?
To protect them? I would prefer to avoid changing the colour or the finish as much as possible. I believe the tiles are constructed from offcuts of different types of wood so I am not sure how pourus it might be.

Thank you

If it were me, I would ring some decent trade product manufactures like Sika or Permagaurd. They all have technical helplines with people in their technical departments happy to speak to customers.
