Best wood filler

Simple as that really - for interior use. Have used Polyfilla and the cheaper alternatives but have had the occasional dropout. This could possibly be due to wood shrinkage.

Anyone recommend a product that is head and shoulders above the rest?

Two pack wood fiklklers outperform 1-pack ones and shrink far less. "Good" brands include Metpolux and Everbuild. For smaller cracks in cklear-finish timbers I tend to use coloured waxes (Liberon, etc)
