Betacom 24c and esi wireless controller

almost new boiler and new controls. all 'works' a treat however the controller isnt wired up right as heat is on all the time.. how should it be wired?
boiler has E N L rt, controller has E N com no nc?

First question. Has the link between RT & 24v been removed?

There are various versions of ESi available, so the sketch below is based on the most common version I have seen. Also, I'm hoping that when you wrote:
controller has E N com no nc
That there is also an L and you have omitted it in error. If yours is different to the sketch below, please post back the make and model or a photo of the wiring terminals.

Also, whilst I am familiar with the electrical terminals used by Glow worm, I don't know your model of boiler to know if it is necessary to open up the room sealed part of the boiler to access the wiring terminals, if it is, then don't proceed and get a Gas Safe engineer to do it.
