Hi, my Betacom boiler stopped working a few days ago and showed the error message F.28, I tried defrosting the condensate pipe then resetting the boiler and got the same error after about two hours. Then I took the condensate pipe out and let the boiler drip into a bucket, then reset the boiler again and got the same error. I reset it again last night and woke up this morning to a different message on the display (see attached). Any ideas would be a great help.

The F28 refers to an unsuccessful ignition attempt.
The symbol in your photo is the 'blocking' one, usually shown to limit boiler power either when first turned on or if the temperature difference across the heat exchanger is excessively high.
Does the boiler fire-up now?
Are there any other symptoms?

No other symptoms that I've notices, other than there's no warm water. But it did make some kind of groaning noises last night.
I haven't tried starting it yet I'm in work at the moment but I get back shall try restarting the boiler again to see what happens?
