bf boiler in celler

hi,
is it permitted to have a balanced flued boiler in a room that will used for sleeping? the boiler is in a basement and will if allowed be turned into a sleeping quarters.

So long as the boiler does not run on LPG it will be fine

Cellar usually means below ground how is balance flue installed?.

flu terminates above outside ground level but below the floor level of the inside ground floor, wow thats confusing??? hehe, the boiler is sat on a raised plinth to achieve the height for the flu to exit the wall above outside ground level

If its a BF boiler you will need a minimum of 600mm from the bottom of the flue to the ground, if it is a fan flue then 300mm will suffice.
