If it's something dangerous and could have been prevented with a proper repair or a new boiler, then the landlord is just as responsible for putting the safety of my family at risk as the person who made the bodged repair and signed off the gas safe certificate. Then again, if it isn't dangerous in the eyes of a gas safe engineer, then fair enough - that's why I'm here asking for advice.
