Hi Everyone,
A few days ago, the ch part just stopped working, full stop on our Biasi. dhw still works just fine, but no matter what I do to reset the boiler, I still get the dreaded 4 blinks per second of death from the status light.

The odd thing is, the boiler periodically fires up and actually runs for about 10-15 seconds before shutting off. So while our house is freezing cold, the rads are all luke warm.

I suppose this points to a ch thermostat issue, but to add yet another odd occurance onto the pile, the boiler worked fine up until a few days ago when my plumber plumbed in a new stove. But outside of cutting the gas supply and tripping the circuit, nothing about the boiler was touched.

Any ideas would be appreciated!

First make sure the system pressure is about 1.5 bar.

If so it sounds as if the CH temperature sensor is failed.

With boiler totally cold measure the resistance of both sensors. Should be around 11 K.

The boiler does have built in diagnostics but its easier for you to measure the resistance first.
