Hi.

I've just had a bifold door fitted for the downstairs bathroom. The problem is, the installer took the existing door knob and put in on the new bifold door.

Due to the projection of the door knob (60mm), the door doesn't fully open and it's a bit of a squeeze to get in the room. These are the existing knobs: http://www.handles4homes.co.uk/frel...C4hLVqv931l0in5UQKtBoj0VUNPOBSH1EYaAiNV8P8HAQ

So, I was looking for a smaller version of this knob (all the doors in the house have these knobs so need something similar to match) and came across these in B&Q: http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/Eglobal/HK0000101_17.jpg

Now on these small handles, the projection is fine, but there are two problems...

1) The rose doesn't cover the hole made for the old larger knobs
2) To use the knob on either side of the door, I would need a double ended screw

Can anyone offer any advice or suggestions? Is there a better knob you would suggest? Or should I stick with these smaller knobs and find a way to connect them which would cover the hole and use a double ended 4mm screw?

Really not sure what to do. Help!
