It really depends on what material and opening type.
Tilt and turns can be pretty big but open inwards. Opening widths around 1m wide and probably around 1400mm high.
Bifolding windows could be pretty huge.
Patio style sliding window could be pretty huge
For side hung sash's it depends on both the width and height (weight). Aluminum windows would be larger max size then PVC. Could even be fitted with door hinges if you could live with them.
