Binding HC60 with Honeywell T4R

I am trying to bind a new T4R stat to an existing HC60 box without success so far. The red and green lights on the HC60 seem to come on and blink as they should but when I try to bind with the T4R it doesn't work. I have the boxes about a meter apart. I assume that is OK? Any ideas please - especially if you have been successful in binding these products.

Are you sure it’s a HC60? Have you done This?

Don't think that can be done. AFAIK they use different control languages and aren't compatible. You need to use the receiver that came with the T4R

I think that you're right. I will replace the receiver as well as the T4R stat. I thought that I had seen somewhere that you could keep the old receiver, but I must have been mistaken!

Fwiw the T4R is a really good bit of kit. Not the cheapest, but very reliable
