Hi guys,

Looking to install a bioethanol fire in the house we have just purchased. The fire can be found here:
https://www.easyfire.co.uk/douglas-black.html

We will be building a false chimney breast as it is flue-less but we want it flush against a wall (hence the chimney breast) - online it states it needs to be inside a non-combustible chamber.

Can someone help with what this is and how to build one as i am useless?!

Thanks in advance!

just to check, you will be using it mostly as an ornament? Not to heat the room?

@JohnD Yes, just looks pretty. We will probably have it on a lot, but not for heating purposes!

Looks like running costs would be about £4.80 per hour on the minimum setting. How does that compare with your present heating costs?
