Not to sure what category this would go in.

Do you think metal stud partitioning would be a good idea to use for racking for a van

would it work out cheaper than timber?

would it be strong enough to hold the weight of tools etc.

Im thinking the downfalls would be the noise it would make in the back but think it would be a lot lighter than timber

your thoughts much appreciated

Either that, or I would use box section and a MIG :D (for the framework), and then just get some steel mesh for the trays/shelves (if needed).

I guess you do need to be careful with the weight also though, yer?

It may be a bit flimsy, I would think unistrut would be better.
