Bitcoin robberies

Interestingly . . . Whilst the owner of the wallet may be anonymous the wallet itself isn't.

The recent $60MILLION+ theft from a mining consortium (which I'm not convinced isn't an inside fraud) is believed to be more about shutting down that consortium rather than stealing & profiting by $60MILLION+.

Whoever has that wallet cannot profit from that bitcoin by legitimate means. The blockchain will expose it the second they do ?

Bitcoin terrifies the banks. They have to destroy it. It was designed to bypass them, to render them obsolete, to take away the grip & the power they hold over us. It absolutely terrifies them, so they have to destroy it.

Do your research, but please keep it within the respected cryptocurrency community. It is only your lack of understanding of it which makes you afraid.

You don't even fully understand £cash, maybe a little understanding of how bitcoin works & the positives it brings will go a little way to helping you to understand how £cash works.
Are you talking in Bitcoin too, because I don't understand any of that.

Bitcoin seems to have lost some of it raison d'etre with its current surge and volatility and this week or next the big Hedge Funds will be able to trade bitcoin futures and they look to short it. So in the end it becomes another manipulated currency.

I think you need to know how traditional currency / fiat money works - fractional reserve banking etc before you compare it to Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies or you will end even more confused than before.

Bitcoin addresses some of the clear shortcomings of the fiat money system.

In the end it won't be just another manipulated currency. The banks need to destroy it & this is just one of their weapons. This is nothing but a blip in the history of bitcoin, it has many years ahead of it.

They cannot destroy it, they cannot see that trying to destroy it will eventually be there downfall . . . There, said it !

So, does anyone have a better understanding of bitcoin than they did yesterday?

I think not.

One + point is . . . They'll never get your bitcoin when they mug you on the way home.

Or the money in your bank. Perhaps the crooks will get wise and rob the bitcoin another way......? Meanwhile, bitcoin or no bitcoin, the muggers will still end up with your phone.
