I tried explaining to my boss why I pulled the black singles he threw in the skip back out the other day.......He is deffinantly a back seat manager 
What are you throwing cable in a skip for?
Our local scrapman pays £1300 per ton for copper
£1300 sounds great - but it would take a fair few part used drums of 2.5mm and 4 mm singles to strike a balance!
