bleeding radiators

WHEN you bleed a radiator does it naturally fill back up with water itself or is there something you have to do to help the process?
 
As Kev says it depends whether it is an open vent system with f&e tank in loft then YES, or a sealed system as in a combi or system boiler then NO, you would have to re-pressurise system b filling it via the filling loop after bleeding.
