I had my drive relayed 3 months ago with more stone and sand to level it out.
The drive has a slight gradient going towards the house so had some aico drains put in at the front of the house in front of the DPC, there is some mortar between the DPC and the drains.
I have noticed that in the rain the rain rarely gets to the aico drains. It often drains through the paving blocks(I take it they are permable) or between the junction between the aico drain and blocks, where the sand has washed out.
The drains were bedded with some mortar/cement.
Are these drains working correctly?
thanks
