I wondered what people's views are on this wall which has been built over the last few days, at times during heavy rain. There are void and mortar running out - does this mean it should be demolished and rebuilt?

Doubling up on blocks laid flat is actually a standard method on site on 9inch walls. On party walls for example it bonds into the cavity walls better.
Also it's said to make less chance of the blocks cracking.
However, for face work, single bonding does look better.

No. It will set like bell iron, as long as there are no frosts. Keep them covered with hessian.

To answer you question on demolition, I'd just fill in the cross joints where the mortar's washed out. Looks like it's been covered with hessian, which is fine for frost, but you need plastic as well for rain.
Agree. For the most part the joints look ok. We are a bit obsessive and are constantly filling joints, even when it's not gonna be visible....

It'll be fine. Looks like there is a facing leaf yet to be put up, judging by the ties?
Do a better job of covering that one if the weather forecast is gangster. Unless it's going to be rendered..
