Dear All. Please Help !

My house built in 1967 has blocked downpipes (imperial gauge) which run into concrete collars. I think the blockage is simply leaves etc but I can't clear it ! I have tried pouring drain unblocking liquids down to no avail.

Does anybody know a cunning plan to shift this blockage without having to break the concrete collar ?

If not, any good ideas how I can break the collar ?

Thanks in anticipation,

Linny.

Can't you locate the manhole (aka inspection hole) and rod back from there?

Failing that, you could drill a hole in the side of the downpipe and rod down from there.

try pulling the swan neck off @ the top and lifting the pipe bodily out of the collar @ grnd. level....I`m assuming the clips won`t unscrew
