Recently my mum bought a bathroom suite not completely installed but the bath has a pop up waste, but the bath is full and the pop up waste is stuck it had been acting up over the last couple of days before the 'incident' and now has no life to pop up. As a result I struggle to get this water out. I have tried a knife and a screwdriver (one of the ones for tiny screws), no luck any ideas. Oh and the bath panel is not coming off anytime soon.

You could try a sucker, The type you get on kids toys, like Bow arrow sets. Or a sink plunger will suck it up the trick is catching it before it drops back in.
