Blocks external without render?

My question is this, which blocks are suitable for external finish without having to be rendered. I dont want the extra cost of rendering and they are only going to be visible from my neighbors house.

I have seen the paint grade blocks are these for external finish with paint thats ok.?

I would prefer something lightweight to the dense ones beacuse they have to be shifted to the site by barrrow for 100 meters

Just read the post (properly) "without...render" etc.
Agree with Woods, aesthetically these will look pig ugly. A bit like a shanty shack.

I understand blocks will look pig ugly, the side of the wall I am using blocks is not visible from my house or garden so it doesn't matter.

I am more concerned if they are water tight and frost tight, beacuse I dont want the extra expense of rending
