I've always used the cheapy DIY blow torches that always run out in the middle of the job!

I'm about to do some plumbing, something like 20-30 joints and I know there isn't enough gas left in the current one to do the job.

So my choices are just buy a few spare gas cannisters for the little torch,

Or spend the money on a better torch with a bigger (maybe better value?) bottle.

I don't have masses of use for a blow torch but do use one a few times a year, either on things like this or on car parts (heating things up before hitting etc!)

I often find the little one isn't man enough for the job.

Any recommendations on what I should buy? Without spending a fortune and remembering it will only be used a few times a year?

It sounds like a blowtorch which takes the mapp gas cylinders would be ideal for you as they get a lot hotter.

Thanks for that I can get a TS7000 for £25 so that should do,

what is better to buy? Mapp or propane?

What benefits would I get from either?

Thanks
