Is it best to blow the leaves from the beds onto lawn then scoop up then mow remaining ones? I find it difficult to blow ones up near fence or behind trees.

Builders bags are good for tipping leaves from the collector in, just dump one in the middle of where your collecting and fill it up.If when youve finished you dont have time to deal with them you can tie the handles together to stop nature redistributing them again until you do.
I empty what I've collected out in a row and repeatedly run the mower over it, without the box, until it very fine which reduces the volume considerably, rots down quicker on the heap too!

I would give you a blow by blow account of my garden - but the wind did it all for me this year:whistle:

It seems impossible to get rid of all the leaves from beds, behind trees/bushes etc). Millions of them. Had a complaint (difficult customer so not taking it too seriously) that there were still leaves around. I blew as much as possible onto the lawn, scooped majority up then mowed the remaining. 5% were remaining in beds or on edges.
