Just got told off because I was pulling the leaves with the broom and that I should always brush away outside and pull the broom towards me inside. Is this true? I usually use a blower not broom too much as they seems so slow.

When blowing leaves around Obstacles-plants, parasols etc is there any special technique? I generally tried to blow everything onto grass or into a corner then scoop it up 20191021_133725.jpg 20191021_144021.jpg

Tell Trigger to mind his own business, and do it any way you like.

Have you given the leaves a good talking to and told them where you want them to go?

Or should that be reserved for the person that told you your doing it wrong? :)

Just get the vacuum cleaner out and suck them up.
But you must remember to go up and down in alternate directions to achieve the stripes!

Conny, I always like to point out when someone is trying to start a nonsense thread.

The Swabians created something called sweeping weeks, basically a rota sharing sweeping of public areas. Very efficient.

If you push then I presume your critic has offered to hold that snow shovel for you to sweep the leaves into?
