so i managed to blow a fuse in my megger... dunno how, nothin was live

any way, i asked my mam to get a replacment. the tyoe in had a F on it, i im guessin this mean fast actin. the one she was given is a glass type (blown 1 was ceramic) with a T on, (im guessin this is a time delay, the fuse inside looks fairly thick). also, it says 250V whereas the old 1 said 600V. would this new 1 be safe to use?

Almost certainly not.

Wrong type - may not provide required protection, and tell me again how many volts your megger works at?

i was thinkin it would be no good, but just wanted someone to confirm before i put it in

Well - I'm only using reason, and best guesses, and erring on the side of caution.

How much is a new megger?
