Blunt Knives Campaign

I do. How else am I going to pierce the plastic film over the top of my ready meal before it goes into the oven?

They haven't thought this through, have they?
One man and his cat sitting down to a Wiltshire Farm Foods Shepherds Pie and watching Emmerdale.

You're so made in the shade, man.

Knives don't kill people, people with knives kill people.
You could go into a toy shop when I was a kid and buy a sheaf knife, I had one my snake belt.
Never had the inclination to stab anyone with it as far as I remember.
Knife crime is a societal problem, something is badly wrong and needs fixing.

Maybe they should make knives and forks out of plastic, it seems to work in prisons and asylums.

Maccy Ds got rid of their plastic cutlery to help save the environment. The new ones are made out something that collapses on impact.

You're the wrong ethnicity. Widespread, endemic knife crime is a more imported, cultural thing. It's concentrated in 'certain' areas for a reason. It's the more modern, more easily transported and concealed version of the spear. Agree that it definitely needs fixing, but our lords and masters are only ensuring that it gets much worse.

Thinking about the use of the pointy bit when cooking, I do use it when I have let the knife get too blunt to even cut a tomato so a little stab and i can then slice normally from there.

Same here. If the knife is blunt, cutting straight into a tomato will result in an explosion. Going in with a point defuses the situation.

It might be worse in some ethnicities, but they were born and raised in the UK.

It isn't the ethnicity that causes knife crime, it's the inequality(economic and social) and that includes the institutionalised racism of certain institutions. It unfairly affects some ethnicities.
And you are responsible for your share of promoting racial separation.
