BMW 320i 2001-Fan blowing but no hot air. AC works fine.

hi all
hope someone can help me with this.

found out today that the heating on my car seem to be playing up.
turned it on but no heat. fan working ok but no heat. temp set to 22 where i usually have it. knob turned to full red, AC off but still not heat, just fan working with some lukewarm air.

i tested the AC and that worked fine instantly.

turned AC off and all heat on. no hot air.

so this evening i turned the temp to max of 32, then it started working. seem to work only when the temp is turned up very high ie between 27-32c.

is this an easy fix or should i book the car into a garage? winter round the corner...lol

This could be a problem with the climate control module.
Consider having a chat with BBA Reman who have some information on this. Is the display behaving itself?

yes the display is fine. no issues there that i can see...seems normal
