Board under facia is rotten help/advise

Hi
Wood under extension facia is rotten hence leakage right in corner as highlighted in the photo length approx under a metre
Do I replace the rotten part or entire length? Any guess on man hours? So can estimate cost thanking in advance for help

Remove all of it, and replace it with UPVC, you can buy it quite cheaply from eurocell, once done, it will last forever and never need painting. You also need to work out why the original got wet.

My bad the white you see is uPVC( plastic me old school) there is marine ply board beneath which is rotten I think gutter was
Not aligned properly hence rain water did the damage to the ply I may be wrong

Well, remove both, then refit the uPVC. if necessary make some plastic packers, to get the uPVC, and/or the gutter to where it ought to be to catch the water run off.

Eurocell are a bit of a rip off, the price in-store is often more expensive than online.

You can just see what looks like the line of the drip edge just behind & below the gutter - the drip edge should discharge over the gutter not behind it.
This means that there is no drip edge piece forcing the drip edge off the fascia.

You cannot leave rotting wood and a defective leaking corner - you will probably have to strip: wood, plastic and drip edge.
To remove all or any of the fascia & wood sub-fascia might anyway cause damage to the drip edge - same with the codged up raised edge.

Why not post pics showing what you expose after any stripping off? And pics looking down into the gutter and a pic showing the whole flat roof ?

I use an online retail that then comes from Eurocell/GAP and it is cheaper than buying from Eurocell/GAP....clueless how.

I've had problems with fulfilment though, e.g. took delivery of 1k of order for my house and they (GAP) ended up missing most of the guttering attachments needed.

OP eaves protection might be needed as well on your roofline.

Very well spotted that is real problem identified in depth I really should have attended to it in summer but due to personal issues I could
Not attend to it & now the weather is not favourable so feel stuck will try & get photos as& when I get tradesman who is qualified to fix

Hi now progressing further need help to identify uPVC supplier link Google has not helped or possibly my ignorance
Of new digital world & being solo operater issue I find is the width of the facia board my measurements & needs are
Length 5 MTR & Width 500mm ( width is required as getting rid of back plywood which is 500mm) soffits 150mm
I will also need end brackets I will be most gratefully if experienced people can help & actually list what I need

Just a warning that facia comes in 2 thickness, what you have now 9mm for over boarding and a thicker one for fitting without the wood under. You will also no doubt need felt trays.
