Hi everyone the previous owner of my house installed a bodged extractor fan how do I install a new one correctly, the current fan works but is not screwed into the tiles on the inside of bathroom and it seems to push air into a cavity in the bricks there is no tube, also the outside is an air Rick not the proper extractor fan flaps? That was installed in a one time air-vent. They are usually lined with thin strips of wood, to isolate the vent from the cavity, but it looks as if they may have been taken out/broken.
