I noticed some paint flaking above the window in the front room see pictures.

I checked the flat roof above and noticed some repairs had been carried out by previous owners.

Would somebody be able to tell me what I can do to rectify the problem? Would it be possible to some paint/liquid that would patch it up?

please post photos showin as much of the total bay roof as possible.include any down pipes.

what i can see seems to be lead flats both sides of a kind of parapet - how does the water drain from inside an outside the parapet?. please show.

thers no signs of anyflashing.
the lead gutter is almost useless.
the splits are probly causedbecause thers no room for expansion - so any repairs will also split after a while.

the front roomwater damage looks to have been ther for a bit. remove the plaster bak to whatever is behind it but dont disturb the great plaster coving an beware of plaster laths.
try an see what damage or rot is behind the plaster inside the bay roof.

the lead sheets need lifting and the deckboards below checked for rotting.

the roof can be rebuilt with edge trim to divert water to a discharge point.
but first open the roof up for a few snaps.

post photo showin the upper window sill an deco staining below it.
