Good evening. I wonder if anyone can help me?
I have a boiler where the condensate waste pipe (flex hose) drains into a drain in the wall.
The connector appears to have developed a leak where it screws into the wall.
Can anyone recommend a particular type of replacement connector?
The flex hose fits on to one end of the connector which then goes into the wall via a 1 1/4” compression fit.
It seems like an appliance connector has been used but I was hoping to install something better.
At the very least, can anyone recommend a like for like connector that’s 1 1/4” as I can only find a 40mm ( https://www.screwfix.com/p/floplast-hose-connector-40mm/48625 ). Colour doesn’t matter.
Ps: this install is at a holiday home in Italy - unsure if that makes a difference.
PPS: the tape shown isn’t needed or normally there
