Boiler Installer - is he legal..?

Hi there,
It's finally time for a new boiler (Vaillant heat only open vent). We have a recommended installer but he is only licensed to work on boilers and pipework. However, we also have a gas fire and hob (though these are fine and won't be involved in the work). Is the installer allowed to install the boiler if we have other gas appliances in the house..?
