boiler noise on start up

I have a relatively new Potterton Profile boiler which has in a matter of months developed what sounds like a sheet metal expansion noise inside, not the flue. This only occurs on start up and once heated disappears.
I have tried many times to eliminate the problem to no avail.
Has anyone out there had the same problem? with a happy ending.
