Had a noisy boiler about three weeks ago was advised to use boiler noise reducer in it. It has just started to take affect this week,
The problem is that when I turned the hot water on this evening the water ran hot for about 5 miunutes then the boiler stoped when I checked the boiler the pilot light had gone out, since I have tried reigniting the pilot three times but each time the pilot just goes out, My boiler is an old glowworm boiler.
Can anyone tell me possible cause and cure
