My Halstead Ace high 102 today developed fault when turning the ch on. The boiler overheated but for some reason did not lock out and the pressure relief valve opened up.

I let boiler cool down then recharged to 1 bar started boiler and the fan started and pump works but the boiler will not ignite.

Any advice would be appreciated.

2. Is there any definitive way of testing pcb to see if this is the problem.

Thanks for any replies.

Not familiar with these but seeing as the topic has been up for over 31 hrs here's an idea or two

You probably tripped an overheat stat and it needs re-setting. Consult your manufacturers instructions or await advice from someone who is more familiar if you cant see or figure out how to reset it.

It is possible that there is a problem with your pressure vessel or maybe a leak in the system which is why you had to top up the water.

Overheat stat reset is bottom left underneath, red/brown button.

If its overheated its probably because an NTC sensor has failed. Check the restance should be about 10k cold.
