hello,
can anybody tell me what the average price is for the yearly boiler service? i have a glow worm economy 50.
also what is actually done during the service? are certain parts changed as standard or the boiler is just checked to see if it is working fine.
for example if you service you car, the oil plugs etc are changed as part of the service. is it the same for boilers?
sorry but dont know much about boilers.
thanks

Don't know about London but I charge £50 + VAT. No parts are usually needed just a thorough clean and checking of the settings, flue gases and gas meter.

We charge £55 in London.

If called every year we change the thermocouple and or diaphragm in the third year!

We sometimes charge £65 for a conventional flue boiler unless its been fully serviced within the last two years.

Tony
