Hi is it illegal to box a boiler into a cupboard even though the manufacturers instructions state it is ok? ive heard a new law has come out banning any boiler being boxed into a cupboard?

i havent got an installer its something i want to do but someone told me i cant do it because of a new law but the manufacturers instructions say it is fine to be put into a cupboard with no need for extra ventilation

If the MI's ok it then no problem. There will be minimum clearances to factor in when building your cupboard.
