Hi,

My son has a gas boiler in his kitchen - think it's a Vokera. He's planning on getting a new kitchen and would like to box in the boiler - essentially he'll (or more likely I'll) be putting a cupboard over the boiler.

Is this allowed?

We're quite happy to have vents / holes etc in the top and bottom and the intention is to have the cupboard on "hooks" so it can be lifted clear of the boiler for maintenance etc.

Thanks

F

Refer to the installation manual for your boiler. Instructions regarding fitting in cupboards will be in there. You don't say what model you have.

Hi Pete,

Obviously suffering from brain fade - should have thought of that!!

Don't know the model - not even 100% sure it's a Vokera just have a vague memory of seeing a Vokera badge on the front - but I'll get him to dig them out.

Thanks.
