we have had boiling radiators but no hot water
our heating is on a timer
pump is grundfoss UPS 15-60which is working but we are not getting no hot water
we do have a header tank in the loft also if the helps you :
on the valve for the hot water, move the lever to the manual position and latch it there. You should get hot water . If it wont move, it's stuck and the head will have to come off to do it. If it does move, you may need a new head.

yes it has worked do we leave this in this position forever now or is it still a problem to be looked at also will this still work ok with our normal settings on central heating and hot water ?
Don't leave it open for ever. There is a problem which should be fixed. It is probably the motor head. You can buy replacements, but I suggest you get someone to do it for you.
