Boiling water tap. Vent pipe

The kit turned up today and the only way I can fit that extension pipe without it fouling the basin is to have it cocked at about 10 degrees off vertical pressed into the back of the cupboard with the tundish raised up behind the basin so you won't see it dripping.

As I see it I've 2 or 3 options - which is best?

1/ Don't fit this pipe as is allowed outside of the UK (according to the MIs)
2/ Fit it. Its at the back so might not be that noticeable but not sure the point if you can't see it dripping (in fact is that against building regs too?)
3/ Fully redo the drainage from this twin basin with exit at the back about half way up the cupboard.

pipe with the red sticker. ignore the micro flexis flying around - haven't removed the old one yet.

Is there an external wall behind the unit?
If so, discharge the tundish to outside.
Interesting so that's option 4. Core drill out another hole in the cavity wall and just have it drizzle out on to the patio?

I think I'm leaning to option 2 but if this is mostly to satisfy the regs of a full blown 200 litre unvented cylinder it all seems a bit overkill. But of course, I'm not a plumber and definitely not one on an unvented ticket.

Option 2 at least is doing what I'm told and I could still just about view the tundish if I really wanted to which I can't see. Any leak would drip down and be obvious.
