I'm replacing all of my internal door handles with bolt through. I've done one so far but it still feels a bit loose, so I may need to use the three wood screws each side, which defeats the object in a way. Any advice? Thanks.

Yes that's just it. I nipped a few mm off and it clamps up night and tight. Should have been obvious at first, but I thought it was short enough to begin with. Just getting the first one fitted to check, then all of the back plate holes need drilling out and filling, then the doors painted, then the handles can all go on. Probably a few days work there as it is!

Thanks.
