Hi all
I am going to fit a new bath and sink i will be running plastic pipes from the main to supply the bath and sink as it stands the copper pipes that are there at the moment are all bonded. Question is what do i do once i replace the pipes with plastic as far as bonding goes the bath is fibreglass but it will have a whirlpool motor under the bath and a metal framework to support the bath do i just bond the framework and the motor ?

If the whirlpool motor is 230V then you will need to bond from the motor body or Earth terminal to the metal framework, ensuring that all parts of the frame are cross bonded if they have none metalic joints.

All extraneous metalwork should be bonded to the nearest outlet earth terminal.
