I'm fitting a couple of radiators ...... The visible sections of plumbing will be in copper, Then the rest of the pipe run will be in Plastic ..... Where am I with bonding here ?

1. Not required
2. Metal bits must be bonded

Many Thanks Chaps :P

Could you give us a hint as to what rooms these will be in.
Bonding not required except in bath/shower rooms.

If it is in a bathroom and there is adequate plastic pipework to provide isolation then supplementary bonding may not be required. See here: clicky

Yeah one in a living room one in a bathroom ...... However the one in the bathroom has a electrical element as well as water (Jumbo towel warmer) which is earthed

If it is in zone 1 2 or 3 the electric elementy has to be bonded with 4mm to any other appliance in the zones and any metal pipework that might introduce a potential from outside the bathroom, this negates the need to bond the drops from the rad as they are to plastic pipe which cannot introduce a potential from outside..

You only need to bond to where the towel rail is connected. (as part of your supplementary bonding)

The earth within the supply flex is sufficient to bond the actual radiator.
