we have just had a new stainless sink installed in the kitchen which states on it that it should be earthed using the earthing tab connected to it, but after reading through some of the posts in this site regarding earth bonding i am now under the impression that kitchen bonding is no longer recommended apart from the main bonding of the main water inlet pipe.
i would just like to know if i should bond it from the earth clamp which cross bonds the cold and hot water pipes which is connected to the main earth terminal of a near by socket or should i just leave it unearthed.

any advice much appreciated.
