gentlemen,

with all your good advice, I have managed to part install the bath, with taps, waste, all nicley done so far !

however, the bath is made from ACRYLIC, and thus I can not get the RUBBER washer of the overflow, to make a watertight seal against the WOVEN acrlylic surface, as it has the texture of a straw hat !

any ideas ?

' with your help - I may be able to take a bath soon '

Nick some of the customer's toothpaste. It'll last until you get paid. ;)

Toothpaste ?!!!

what the **** ? Ive heard it all now !!!!

OK, so out of the solutions mentioned, which should I use ?

is fernox / plumbers mate BETTER than Silicone sealant ?

Maybe I should mix in a bit of toothpaste for that Colgate feeling ?!!
