We can all see Boris is scattering chaff in order to change the news cycle away from 'PartyGate' and his statement about Keir Starmer's role in not prosecuting Jimmy Saville has become the latest dog whistle for people to be offended.
No doubt the matter will be raised at PMQs today so i don't understand why the Speaker can make Ian Blackford leave the chamber for stating the obvious: Boris Johnson's pants are on fire, while aforementioned Boris gets away with his statement on the Leader of the Opposition without an apology.
He should retract the statement before proceedings today or be sent to his room without any supper to make him learn how to behave in an adult fashion.

All Johnson will care about is getting through this week and get to parliamentary recess still in power

Of course he is.
Keir Starmer will have to put on his wellies and wrestle the lying pig into the gutter.
Only trouble with that is they'll both get as dirty and the pig will enjoy it more.
But this is the nature of our politics today. If he continues to 'go high' as the Democrats did with Trump, then they'll never get hold of the greasy weasel long enough to chuck him out.

They have been known to recess in Feb. Unusual but it happens.

Can't accuse a fellow member of being a Liar. All the MPs know this and they frequently do it for PR. Starmer has a brand issue.

Can't accuse a fellow member of being a Liar

neither are MPs allowed to mislead the house -which Johnson does every week

"no checks between GB and NI
"40 new hospitals"
"crime is lower"
"fastest growing economy in G7
"ahead of Europe on vaccines"

etc
etc
etc

What is that supposed to mean?

It means, unscrupulous, immoral media outlets that have a symbiotic relationship with the Tory party have been spreading Johnson's rumours about Starmer.
I think Johnson was the first to call Starmer Captain Hindsight, then he carried on from there.

Johnson currently lying in parliament right now

"our govts help on energy is better than Labours plan" -a lie

PMQs is very different today, or at least, BJ is. No jokes yet, no personal attacks

Still lying too - just said again "fastest growing economy in the g7" and also said fraud was being tackled, even though the Tory Fraud minister quit because fraud was so bad.

And now BJ is claiming the heating loan is not a loan, even though we'll have to pay it back ...

[On Starmer]He's so frightened of saying or doing the wrong thing, he says nothing and does nothing. At least Corbyn had a vision, Blair had charisma, Brown had experience. Sadly, in politics brand is everything.

IMF agree with him:
In the latest amendment to its economic forecasts, the IMF today said it now expects British gross domestic product (GDP) to expand by 4.7 per cent in 2022 - cutting down its previous prediction of 5.0 per cent made in October 2021.

But the cut to Britain's expected growth rate in 2022 was the smallest among the Group of Seven (G7) large advanced economies besides Japan, and Britain's GDP is still expected to grow faster than any other G7 nation in 2022.

Fraud is growing around 80% Year on Year. The pandemic aided this.

Subtle smearing of Starmer -I guess your leader is doing badly :)

far being frightened, Starmer just totally trounced Johnson on fraud, totally trounced Johnson on dodgy energy loans

Starmer is not the PM, he has no authority to do anything in government.
On the other hand Boris is the PM, and he obviously feels free to flout the rules he set.
He feels free to to make cuts in wages by subterfuge despite inflation rising.
And when it's pointed out to him that this government has a failure of leadership, he rearranges the deck chairs. (Obvious reference to the sinking ship.)
